California Tortilla Lets Fans in On Its ‘Inner Circle’

With the release of his newest novel, Inner Circle, on January 11, No. 1 New York Times best-selling author Brad Meltzer again spotlights California Tortilla in the pages of his works. As a fan of the chain, Meltzer had previously intertwined California Tortilla into the plot of his 2004 bestseller Zero Game.

In partnership with the release of this highly anticipated book, California Tortilla will be holding "Inner Circle Day" on January 25. Customers will get a free taco with any purchase by either bringing in the new book or e-book opened to the page or by saying the page number that California Tortilla is mentioned on.

In addition, catering customers who use the password "Inner Circle" when ordering via the concept’s ordering hotline will get a free copy of the novel. California Tortilla will also donate $5 for every catering order from January 11 through February 1 to a charity that Meltzer supports: City Year.

"Our customers are part of our own ‘Inner Circle,’” says California Tortilla president Bob Phillips. "What better way to engage them than by having them find our mention in Brad's book and then enjoying a delicious taco as part of the experience."
