California Tortilla Strikes Gold with "Gold Rush" Partnership

California Tortilla is helping customers strike gold on Friday, October 26, in a partnership with Discovery Channel to celebrate the season premiere of “Gold Rush.”

Customers who use the password “Cal Tort Queso Is Golden” on Friday with any purchase will receive a free order of chips and cup of the chain’s signature golden queso.

In addition, customers redeeming the password will receive a “Gold Rush” miner’s hat courtesy of Discovery Channel, while supplies last.

“Our queso is as good as liquid gold,” says California Tortilla vice president of marketing Stacey Kane. “We’re thrilled to link one of our most popular menu items with Discovery Channel’s highest-rated show.”

This is the second time California Tortilla has partnered with Discovery Channel this year surrounding on-air programming.

Leading up the Shark Week, California Tortilla gave away shark fin hats and catered “Chompie Attacks” at offices around the greater Washington area.
