Camille's Sidewalk Cafe Opens First International Unit

Beautiful Brands International (BBI), the parent company to Camille’s Sidewalk Café, announced today the opening of its first international Camille’s Sidewalk Café location in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

“The franchise expansion in Puerto Rico is an important part of our global strategy to bring the fresh taste of Camille’s to nations across the globe,” said David Rutkauskas, Beautiful Brands Founder, President and CEO.

The newest member of the Camille’s franchise family is located at 305 Recinto Sur St. Viejo, near the post office and court building in San Juan. It’s the first location for franchisee owner operators and the first Camille’s Sidewalk Café ever in Puerto Rico.

An agreement between Camille’s Franchise System, Inc. and Camille’s Interamerica Development, Inc. (CIDI) confirms the opening of 40 Camille’s Sidewalk Café restaurants and the plans for hundreds more within eight years in the region. Plans include developing available territories in Florida, the entire continent of South America, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean Basin, which includes the Central American countries of Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama. This agreement projects the creation of over 5,000 new jobs in Latin America.
