Capriotti’s Brings Fan Favorite to Houston

Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop announces the arrival of its first of three Houston area restaurants. Fort Bend County residents are welcomed to discover the 37-year tradition of excellence that began in a small town in Delaware and has since captured the hearts of sandwich lovers nationwide. Famous for their all-natural, in-house roasted turkey and premium roast beef, Capriotti’s hand crafts every sub with the highest quality ingredients and fresh, locally baked bread.

Houstonians that are unfamiliar with Capriotti’s are getting their first taste of The Bobbie, voted “The Greatest Sandwich in America,” by thousands of AOL readers, made with in-house roasted turkey, homemade stuffing, cranberry sauce, and a touch of mayo on a freshly baked roll. Recent winner of “Best of” awards in Dallas, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Delaware, Capriotti’s has options for everyone, from the signature, Delaware-style Cheese Steak piled high with premium grilled steak and melted white American cheese to a classic favorite, TheCapastrami, made with hot pastrami and Swiss cheese with Russian dressing and crisp cole slaw. Those craving a lighter option can check out Capriotti’s fresh hand-tossed salads, like The Black and Bleu with chopped greens, homemade roast beef, tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet peppers, and bleu cheese, or one of their meatless options, such as the Veggie Cheeseburger.

With three shops in Dallas, Capriotti’s is developing a loyal fan base in the Lone Star state, which we look forward to continuing with our first ever Houston shop,” says Ashley Morris, CEO of Capriotti’s. “Though new to the area, Capriotti’s is sure to make a name for itself amongst the community, as we have done for the last 37 years with our extraordinary flavor and unprecedented service.”

As a Delaware native, Capriotti’s has always had a special place in my heart,” says Bryan Burnett, Capriotti’s franchisee. “I look forward to sharing my hometown favorite with Houstonians for the first time.”
