Capriotti’s announced the addition of Margaret Schroeder as the director of marketing. Though new to the Capriotti’s family, Schroeder has extensive experience in the food marketing industry.
Schroeder will be responsible for further promotion of the well established Capriotti’s brand, keeping track of changing market trends and maintaining the excellent sales numbers, which will aid in Capriotti’s continuing nationwide expansion.
Before joining Capriotti’s, Schroeder was director of marketing at Cacique USA, the leading brand of Hispanic cheese, creams, chorizo, and yogurt. Schroeder improved sales during her tenure with the company through development of a new consumer campaign with Food Network and product innovation.
Before working at Cacique, she served as senior marketing manager for Paramount Farms, the world’s largest grower and processor of pistachios and almonds. Schroeder was equally as successful helping the Sunkist Almond Accents brand achieve its highest sales week ever.
Schroeder received her MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
“Margaret has a remarkable understanding of marketing products and increasing brand recognition,” says Ashley Morris, Capriotti’s CEO. “We are looking forward to the unique and innovative ideas Margaret will bring to the company. With experience such as hers with numerous food brands, we believe she will prove to be a valuable asset to the Capriotti’s team.”
“I am greatly honored to join Capriotti’s as director of marketing,” Schroeder says. “I am excited to bring a new perspective to the already thriving brand and look forward to working with this talented team.”
