Only 12 miles from the original, Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop opens its 19th Delaware restaurant in Newark, at Harmony Plaza. The sandwich shop, born in Wilmington, now has 88 restaurants across the United States. With a spacious dining area, the new shop welcomes Newark residents to sit and enjoy their favorite sub selections. 

 

Delaware residents can look forward to more classic Capriotti’s favorites like the Bobbie, crafted with light and dark turkey meat, cranberry sauce, homemade stuffing, and touch of mayo on a baked roll and the “Best Cheesesteak” in Delaware as voted by "Delaware Today" readers, made with premium grilled steak and melted white American cheese. 

 

Long-time fans can try out some of Capriotti’s newest offerings, including a variety of hand tossed salads like the Chopped Italian Salad, made with mixed greens, salami, capacolla, pepper ham, provolone cheese, garbanzo beans, black olives, tomatoes, and diced cucumbers. Capriotti’s now offers an extended catering menu including Cap’s Big Box Lunch and hot self-serve homemade Meatball Bar with delivery to local businesses.
