October 15, passengers on all Independence Air–the new airline based in Dulles, Virginia–flights will be able to enjoy a new high-altitude Caribou Coffee.

Caribou Coffee developed this special blend for high-altitude brewing. Caribou “This new blend meets the same high standards for quality that you get from a cup of coffee in one of our coffee houses,” says Caribou Coffee CEO Michael Coles.”Our roastmaster achieved the objective to deliver the same great Caribou Coffee taste, whether you’re on the ground or flying in a jet.”

In announcing the partnership with Independence Air, Coles said, “Independence Air and Caribou share the same dedications to making the customer first, to operational excellence, to enthusiasm and to innovation.”

Independence Air, formerly known as Atlantic Coast Airlines, offers 300 non-stop flights from Dulles to 35 destinations everyday. “Dedicated Caribou customers will be pleased to learn they can still get their favorite coffee when they fly,” points out Coles. “It’s also a great way for someone who hasn’t tried our superior coffee to find out what they’ve been missing.”
