Carl's Jr., Hardee's Smoke Up the Breakfast Menu
Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s present a smokin’ new addition to their lineup of Made from Scratch Biscuits with the Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit.
Previously a limited-time offer at Hardee’s, the popular breakfast menu item is back and now available at all Hardee’s restaurants and at all Carl’s Jr. locations that serve Made from Scratch Biscuits.
Featuring a savory Hillshire Farm Split Smoked Sausage link, egg, and melted American cheese on a fresh, made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuit, the brands’ newest breakfast item is something great to wake up to in the morning.
Carl’s Jr. locations not yet serving Made from Scratch Biscuits will offer the same ingredients on toasted sourdough bread, as the Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich.
“We always look for premium-quality ingredients to pair with our famous made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuits and the Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage was a perfect fit,” says Brad Haley, chief marketing officer at CKE Restaurants, parent company of Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s. “We brown the split sausage on the grill to bring out the flavor and put it on top of eggs and melting American cheese inside of a hot biscuit, and breakfast doesn’t really get much better than that.”
The Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit starts at $2.59 and is also available as a combo with Hash Rounds and coffee, orange juice, or a soft drink for $4.09.
The breakfast sandwich version sells for $2.99 as an entrée and $4.49 as a combo. Prices may vary by location.
