Everything old is new again at Carvel Ice Cream, which has debuted its new “classic cool” look. From a streamlined menu and powerful new graphics to new innovative cake designs, Carvel couldn’t be more proud to unveil its fresh positioning and appearance inspired by the 78-year history of the brand.

From top to bottom, each Carvel retail location has undergone a classic cool transformation, including fresh paint, new graphics, and updated menuboards and signage. Employees will greet customers in retro-inspired uniforms. Even the Carvel logo has been re-engineered to reflect the brand’s nostalgic nod.

It’s not just the look of your neighborhood Carvel that’s changed. Guests will enjoy a number of new sweetexperiences, such as browsing cake designs, including new signature square shapes, via a digital cake book.

And, the classic Carvel treat featuring the ice cream cone dipped in bonnet has also undergone a makeover. Customers can choose from a variety of new bonnet flavors, including caramel, cotton candy, peanut butter, and cake mix, and watch as their cone is hand dipped before their eyes.

“For almost eight decades, we’ve been innovators in the ice cream field,” says Carvel President Gary Bales. “Tom Carvel’s spirit of collaboration and revolution is still alive and well, and we couldn’t be more thrilled by what lies ahead for our brand. To celebrate this milestone and the exciting future that lies ahead, Carvel invites guests new and old to visit their neighborhood shoppes from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, to enjoy a free soft serve junior cone on the house.
