Cash In on a Corn Dog, Win $10,000

Wienerschnitzel, the world’s largest hot dog chain, launched its “Cash In On a Corn Dog” sweepstakes nationwide, March 14 through April 24 or until supplies last. Customers can “Eat it, Read it, Win it” by purchasing a corn dog for 99 cents, reading the prize printed on the wooden stick, and redeeming the stick for the designated prize. Wienerschnitzel anticipates one out of every five customers can win a prize, ranging from a free corn dog on their next visit to the grand cash prize of $10,000.

“Wienerschnitzel takes pride in creating a delicious, fun, and affordable dining experience,” says Tom Amberger, vice president of marketing at Wienerschnitzel. “We are known for our delicious corn dogs and are very excited to offer this value-added menu item to guests in an exciting contest offering both cash and prizes.”

During the “Cash In On a Corndog” sweepstakes, every corn dog purchased provides guests the chance to win one of thousands of prizes, including either $10,000, $100, $50, or $25 cash, a $5 Wiener Bucks gift certificate, or a free corn dog. Customers that receive a stick printed with a 10-digit code can enter the code online and register for the chance to win one of the cash prize amounts. Official rules for the sweepstakes are available on Wienerschnitzel’s corn dog bags, including directions on how guests can request a free corn dog stick by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the sweepstakes’ office.

“Cash In on a Corn Dog” will be supported with television and radio advertising, direct mail, social media, and in-store point-of-purchase materials.
