Cheeseboy Launches Video Contest in Search of Super Fan

Cheeseboy: Grilled Cheese To Go is gearing up for National Grilled Cheese Month this April with a video contest search for the Cheeseboy Super Fan!

Starting today, Cheesesboy is asking fans to create a short video sharing their enthusiasm for grilled cheese and Cheeseboy. Fans can sing, dance, act, or just talk their way to victory.

The Cheeseboy Super Fan grand prize winner will be awarded free grilled cheese for a year and $1,000 cash. Ten other finalists will receive first prize awards in the form of $50 Cheeseboy gift cards.

Contestants can submit their original videos through Cheeseboy’s Facebook fan page until May 31, 2012. Following the submission period, videos will roll over to a public vote. The public vote will determine the contest finalists and will run from June 1, 2012 to June 30, 2012.

Cheeseboy will pick one grand prize winner based on creativity, quality, and appropriateness of content. Winners will be announced early July 2012.

“We wanted to provide our fans with a fun way to celebrate National Grilled Cheese Month, while acknowledging their enthusiasm for grilled cheese and support of our company,” says Michael Inwald, Cheeseboy founder and president. “We encourage our fans to be creative with this contest. Submissions can be a 30-second commercial, a one-minute skit, or a two-minute song, anything that demonstrates their love of grilled cheese. We look forward to reviewing all of the entries.”
