Chester’s International, LLC, an emerging leader of quick service restaurant concepts nationally, is launching a program to aggressively expand the number of franchised Chester’s restaurants in Birmingham, Alabama. As a central part of Chester’s International national franchising program, the company envisions considerable franchise opportunities for Alabamian entrepreneurs, a press release said.

A recent independent market analysis conducted for Chester’s International identified 24 potential trade areas in and around the Birmingham area. Each trade area creates a minimum opportunity for one restaurant opening. The company is looking for three to four qualified individuals or businesses to develop Chester’s franchises in these areas by opening multiple restaurants over the next 12 to 24 months. The Birmingham expansion takes place in Chester’s own backyard. Chester’s International’s global headquarters are in Birmingham, and the company’s flagship store is located there, as well.

“Birmingham, our hometown, is one of the most important markets in the country for us,” Russ Cooper, President of Chester’s International LLC, said in the press release. “Chester’s franchise program is an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs that have an interest in the restaurant business. In addition, 24 new franchised restaurants would create 170 or so new jobs for full time and part time employment in the Birmingham area.”
