Chicken Salad Chick officially announced the addition of a future franchise in the Carolinas and north Georgia, with its first location set for Greenville, South Carolina.

“We have been enormously blessed with franchisees who share our passion for the Chicken Salad Chick concept and want to grow it in their communities,” says Kevin Brown, president of Chicken Salad Chick. “By year’s end, we will have restaurants in cities throughout Southeast, including Greenville.”

A total of 29 locations are set to open, starting with Greenville in summer 2013, and are owned by franchisees Michelle Singleton and Julie Beville of Sing Bev Hospitality.

This marks the largest area development agreement that Simply Southern Restaurant Group has signed to date.

“We are so excited about the concept and current locations of Chicken Salad Chick and decided to bring it to areas that we know and love,” Singleton and Beville say. “Our families are very excited to be a part of this wonderful concept and get started immediately.”

Chicken Salad Chick founder Stacy Brown adds, “When great people like the Singletons and Bevilles come to us with their own excitement and passion about Chicken Salad Chick, it is affirmation for us that we are touching lives. And that is our goal every day.”
