Winick Realty Group LLC announced the availability of 14,000 square feet of retail space at 281 Broadway, located between Chambers and Reade Streets in the heart of the Financial District.
Encompassing three floors, the space includes 3,500 square feet of ground floor retail, as well as 5,000 square feet on both the second floor and lower level. It features 75 feet of windows on Broadway, offering excellent visibility to the traffic from nearby J&R Music World, Century 21, Potbelly Sandwiches, Duane Reade, City Hall and the Federal Building.
Winick Realty Group LLC Executive Vice President Darrell Rubens has already leased 2,500 square feet of space at the building to Chipotle. Rubens represented ownership in that transaction, while Newmark Knight Frank represented Chipotle.
The remaining 14,000-square-foot space, which is divisible, sits below 84 luxury condominiums in a new construction that has finally reached completion after years of delay.
“I worked closely with the architects from day one to make sure the location was optimized for retail use with ideal column spacing and other important features in place,” says Rubens, who has been involved with the project since construction began in 2005.
Along with Associate Director Lee Block and Associate Annie Shinn, Rubens is marketing the multi-level space on behalf of Feldman Realty Group.
