As the batter ice cream concept continues to gain momentum, and interest among ice cream aficionados grows, Cold Stone Creamery is expanding upon this taste profile.

On July 2, just in time for National Ice Cream Month, participating Cold Stone Creamery locations will feature four batter-inspired ice cream flavors: Chocolate Cake Batter, Blueberry Muffin Batter, Cookie Batter, and Cake Batter.

In addition to the new batter flavors, and playing off the baseball batter terminology, several new ice cream Creations, cakes, and shakes have been designed and will be available July 2 through August 31. A few examples of these new delicious desserts include:

Creation:

• Blueberry Double Play: Blueberry Muffin Ice Cream, double blueberries, and yellow cake

Shakes:

• Bananas for Baseball: Chocolate Cake Batter Ice Cream and bananas

Cakes:

• Rookie Cookie Cake: Layers of devil’s food cake and Cookie Batter Ice Cream mixed with chocolate shavings, covered in ganache, and crumbed with chocolate chips

“Since its introduction, Cake Batter ice cream has been one of the most popular flavors we sell. In fact, to date we’ve produced more than 56 million servings of this delicious flavor in shakes, cakes, and Creations in stores across the country,” says Senior Tastemaster Ray Karam. “I think this is just the beginning of the innovative batter flavors Cold Stone Creamery is capable of developing.”

In support of all things batter, Cold Stone Creamery is combining baseball, water, and ice cream for the perfect summer celebration. More specifically, there is a baseball-themed scratch-and-win game card for anyone who makes a Cold Stone Creamery purchase with the purchase of a 20-ounce bottle of Aquafina water. Game card prizes include free mix-ins, free Creations, and five-dollar gift cards.
