The Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show announced that it will return to Atlanta in May 2010. For two years, the Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show has offered demonstrations by award-winning and celebrity chefs, revealed fresh ideas for cooking and entertaining enthusiasts, and hosted tasting and entertaining workshops filled with useful trends and tricks. It all takes place within a showcase of gourmet foods and beverages, kitchen gadgets and appliances, floral linens, and fashion wear from more than 150 exhibitors.

The Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show is a consumer show designed to be an educational experience for cooking and entertaining enthusiasts. Taking place annually in Atlanta; West Palm Beach, Florida; and Washington, D.C., the event welcomes celebrity chefs like Paula Deen, Bobby Flay, Tyler Florence, Guy Fieri, and Pat and Gina Neely and also features top local chefs. The Atlanta 2008 and 2009 shows included demonstrations by Anne Quatrano, Linton Hopkins, Hans Rueffert, Kevin Gillespie, and several more of the city’s favorites.

The show was started in 2006 by founder and CEO Denise Sullivan Medved. Medved is the author of two cookbooks: The Tiny Kitchen Cooking and Entertaining and The Bachelor’s Tiny Kitchen.
