Cosi, Inc. announced today that Becky Iliff, former vice president of store human resources and training for Jamba Juice, has been named the company’s vice president of people, reporting to Gilbert Melott, executive vice president of operations and people.

“Cosi is fortunate to have a high-energy, passionate individual such as Becky involved in building an industry-leading people organization,” said Melott. “Becky’s significant experience in organizational development and perspective on diversity, and individual performance enhancing programs are well-suited to supporting the long-term strategic vision for Cosi.”

Ms. Iliff has varied experience in operations and human resources in the restaurant industry. In her most recent position at Jamba Juice, Ms. Iliff developed the learning organizational concept for the brand as a cultural platform that supported its educational and growth goals. Prior to her tenure at Jamba Juice, Ms. Iliff served as Vice President of Business Process and Education for Bennigan’s Restaurants. There she reengineered the training and organization development processes, reversing turnover, incorporating process improvement, and garnering awards for program development. Ms. Iliff also served as Training Director and held various roles in restaurant operations.
