Cousins Subs is testing new menu offerings in select locations in order to give customers new choices. New menu items include Wisconsin cheese curds and breakfast offerings, such as sandwiches, hash browns, a Greek Yogurt parfait, and Alterra coffee. Also, Cousins Subs has introduced new multigrain bread, which has replaced its wheat bread.

“As with any restaurant chain, we recognize the critical importance of listening to guest feedback, following popular industry trends, and researching potential new products,” says Kim Kofler, vice president of operations and menu development at Cousins Subs. “At Cousins, we make it a priority to not only recognize this feedback, but to take it back out to our stores and let our guests have the opportunity to try out new menu options.”

So far, feedback has been very positive, according to Kofler. “Wisconsin cheese curds are gaining momentum at test stores and guest reaction has been tremendous. In fact, we are expanding our test. Early feedback on breakfast has been positive, and we will continue to monitor its performance.”

Cousins will determine how to best move forward with these test items as the test period ends in the near future.

In addition, Cousins’ wheat bread has been replaced system-wide with their new multigrain bread.
