Preparing for further growth, the popular seven-unit Dallas-based fast-casual brand, Cowboy Chicken Wood Fire Rotisserie, announced it has signed a lease to open its newest restaurant in Ft. Worth, Texas.

The 2,500-square-foot location will be the first Cowboy Chicken restaurant in Ft. Worth and the fourth corporate restaurant for the company.

Like all Cowboy Chicken locations, Ft. Worth will feature the same chicken cooked over a wood-burning fire like it’s been cooked for more than 30 years, and will hire approximately 25 crew members from the local community.

The new Cowboy Chicken location will open by the end of summer. Chuck Zieseniss, a five-year veteran of Cowboy Chicken and resident of Ft. Worth, will be its general manager.

The restaurant will be open daily from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. and will feature a comfortable dining room, a large covered patio, and catering, delivery, and take-out.

“We have wanted to open a company restaurant in Ft. Worth for some time and think Fort Worth is a perfect fit for Cowboy Chicken,” says Sean Kennedy, president, Cowboy Chicken. “We look forward to serving the Ft. Worth community by August.”

For more than 30 years, the “down home Cowboys” at Cowboy Chicken have been cooking all-natural chicken over a wood-burning fire, and soon guests of Ft. Worth will enjoy the same wood-fired rotisserie chicken with 17 different fresh homemade sides.

Since its humble beginnings in 1981, Cowboy Chicken has perfected the taste of chicken on a wood-burning rotisserie and created the Twice-Baked "Potaters".

Other long-time favorites are the Cowboy Chicken Enchiladas stuffed full of delicious all white meat rotisserie chicken and its chicken salad sandwiches.

Homemade Southern Blackberry Cobbler or Peach Cobbler finishes off any Cowboy meal, and both its award-winning chicken enchiladas and homemade cobbler have been on the menu since Cowboy's inception.

Cowboy Chicken in Ft. Worth will also feature healthy fresh salads and sandwiches, grilled skinless chicken breast, and nutritious sides such as seasonal fruit, baked sweet potatoes, green beans, and Campfire Veggies, which can all be ordered online.

Online ordering is available for lunch and dinner, take-out, home delivery, and catering services.
