The Chain Restaurant Compensation Association (CRCA) has announced that it has just completed a major strategic and structural reorganization for the upcoming years. In its annual member conference, held this year in Lexington, Kentucky, the membership accepted and approved an aggressive and dynamic mission and vision for the organization.


The CRCA’s mission is: “to serve the chain restaurant industry and strengthen the total rewards discipline through collaboration by providing access to leading edge market data, benchmarking, networking and learning opportunities.”


The CRCA has elected and/or reconfirmed the following individuals to serve on the organization’s Executive Council:

President — Ann Tincher — Fazoli’s Restaurant Group Inc.
Vice-President — Wendy Harkness — Checker’s Drive-In Restaurants, Inc.
Survey Director — Dana Rawlins — Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores, Inc.
Communication Director — Chip Stalter — White Castle System Inc.
Business Director — Tom Scheer — RARE Hospitality Int’l Inc.
Membership Director — Melody Keeble — CEC Entertainment, Inc.

Together, these Executive Council members will work toward the CRCA vision to be the premiere source of total rewards information for the chain restaurant industry.


The Chain Restaurant Compensation Association (CRCA) was established in 1976. It is a professional organization dedicated to strengthening and enhancing the compensation and benefits function within the restaurant industry. This goal is achieved through enhancing the value of membership by providing relevant information and high quality educational experiences, accurate and comprehensive market data relevant to the chain restaurant industry, and providing opportunities for members to share ideas. CRCA currently has a membership of over ninety-five companies representing approximately one hundred twenty-five restaurant concepts within the industry.
