Deerman's Turns to Highlands Digital Media for Menu Reboot

Highlands Digital Media, a provider of digital menuboards, digital retail signage solutions, and digital place-based advertising networks, was selected by Deerman’s BBQ to roll out a digital menuboard solution for its Adamsville, Alabama, restaurant.

Deerman’s slogan is “Serving You Since ’82,” and the digital menuboard (DMB) installation coincided with its 30th anniversary. The DMB solution was installed in October 2012 and owner Chris Lawrence says the results have been great.

“We’ve had nothing but positive results,” he adds. “They have made a big impact on our customers, and the items we have featured on the boards have seen a substantial increase in sales. It works better than any other solution we looked at for our restaurant.”

Deerman’s contracted with Highlands Digital Media to design, install, and manage the full solution for the concept. The creative for the menuboards was designed to match the look and feel of the restaurant’s interior. 

“When we design a menuboard solution, we want the creative piece to complement the restaurant’s atmosphere and enhance the customer’s experience while they are on site,” says Chuck Adams, president of Highlands Digital Media.
