Before joining Del Taco, Cappasola spent 16 years with Blockbuster in market sales development, field marketing and in various operational, strategic and concept development disciplines.
Brian Moriarty was promoted to senior director of brand marketing and advertising. Moriarty, who has been with Del Taco for more than five years, most recently led field marketing and corporate communications. In his new role, Moriarty will drive Del Taco’s strategic planning and execution of the company’s advertising and promotions.
Cappasola and Moriarty will report to Sharon Fogg, senior vice president of marketing. “With this announcement, we’re acknowledging great achievement and the continuing development and significance of marketing’s role at Del Taco,” Fogg says. “With these changes, we’ll be able to more effectively execute our brand both in the media and in our restaurants and grow sales, traffic and market share.”
