Domino’s Pizza (NYSE: DPZ – News) today announced the opening of its 300th store in Canada. The milestone store is located in Kelowna, British Columbia, and is owned by franchisee Jamie Banner.

Banner owns three stores in British Columbia and two in Kelowna. Banner has been with Domino’s Pizza for more than two decades, beginning his career as a pizza delivery driver. In 2008, Banner’s original store in Kelowna was the first in Canada to have annual sales top $2 million, a new Canadian record for Domino’s Pizza.

Canada is home to the first Domino’s Pizza opened outside of the U.S. Franchisee Michael Schlater opened the company’s first international stores in Winnipeg in 1983.
