Denny’s introduced its new Sizzlin’ Breakfast Skillets. They are offered in two options, the Southwestern Sizzlin’ Skillet and the Flatjack Sizzlin’ Skillet.

“Our artisan chefs know that the sound and smell of a meal can be just as important as the taste–and what better way to start the day off right than with a sizzle,” says Mark Chmiel, Denny’s executive vice president and chief marketing and innovation officer. “Our new Sizzlin’ Breakfast Skillets, a breakfast industry first, satisfies our guests’ hunger for new breakfasts and allows them to customize each bite.”

The Southwestern Sizzlin’ Skillet comes to the table fajita-style on a hot cast iron skillet and features scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, and fire-roasted onions and peppers accompanied by warm tortillas, freshly made pico de gallo, and sour cream. With traditional ingredients, spiced up with a Southwestern twist, consumers can load their tortilla with all of their favorites and customize each bite to their own taste. The Flatjack Sizzlin’ Skillet takes a decidedly more traditional approach to breakfast as the skillet is served with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and hash browns. Warm Flatjack pancakes are ready to fill, top with syrup, and roll.

By introducing the new Sizzlin’ Breakfast Skillets, Denny’s rekindles the emotional breakfast connection with a twist on breakfast classics by appealing both to the traditional breakfast fans looking for new combinations of old favorites, and breakfast “super-fans” looking for the newest and most innovative meal combination.
