Dickey's Barbecue Catering Hotline Hits Record Sales

Not many 1-year-olds make $2.6 million. 

But, after just one year, the national catering hotline for Dickey's Barbecue hit that sales mark with a 58 percent year-over-year sales increase.

The hotline, 1-866-BARBECUE, continues to break monthly sales records, making Dickey's the No. 1 barbecue catering service in the nation.

"Our national catering hotline had an impressive first year," says Roland Dickey, Jr., president of Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants. "It allowed us to better serve our customers so that they have an enhanced catering experience—the response has been extremely positive."

The barbecue catering hotlines gives customers direct access to live catering experts who can answer questions, customize orders, and recommend options.

The catering service ranges from personal box lunches to full-service buffet for any size. The hotline makes catering easy and affordable for families and corporate event planners. 

Dickey's Barbecue is continuing to expand with at least 50 new stores slated to open in the remainder of 2012. The new growth makes the demand for catering services even greater. The catering hotline takes catering orders for any franchise location from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT daily, with an answering service ongoing 24 hours a day.

"In twelve months, we took a business model that didn't exist and made it a reality," Dickey says. "I'm proud of our catering team and excited to see our growing company take our catering business to the next level."
