Dickey's Barbecue Expands Across Minnesota

Dickey's Barbecue Pit is building momentum in Minnesota. Minnesota is Dickey's fastest growing market with 12 stores open and five more set to open in the coming months.

"We've only been in the Minnesota market for a short time period and have seen explosive growth and interest in our unique concept," says Roland Dickey,Jr., president of Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants. "No one does barbecue the way we do it and Minnesota has really embraced us."

Most franchise owners in Minnesota own multiple locations and are excitedly developing the area. Dickey's newest locations will be in Savage and Valleyfair Park. Both stores are owned by Shawn Lindsey.

"We are thrilled to open a Dickey's because they offer great Texas barbecue and a cool concept," Lindsey says.
