Dickey’s Barbecue Pit continues to expand across the state of California, the state with the second most locations following Texas. The Texas-style barbecue chain has plans to open 27 more locations in the Golden State, which will increase the state’s store count to 112 stores.

“Following Texas, California has the most Dickey’s Barbecue Pit locations,” says Roland Dickey Jr., CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurant’s. “Our guests in this state continue to ask for additional stores so that they can enjoy slow-smoked barbecue statewide. We know that Californians appreciate quality food at affordable prices, and we look forward to continuing our exponential growth across the state.”

The newest store in Clovis, California, recently opened on October 1 with a huge three-day grand opening celebration, including $2 pulled pork sandwiches, gift card giveaways, and free barbecue for a year. Look for the next Californian Dickey’s Barbecue Pit locations to open soon in La Quinta and Morgan Hill.
