The Dairy Queen system is opening a new treat concept, a DQ Treat store in Tucson, Arizona. The location offers all of the Dairy Queen soft-serve treats as well as Orange Julius products, including an array of fruit beverages and smoothies. In addition, the store also will serve Dairy Queen signature Iron Grilled Sandwiches as well as hot dogs. Located in the Park Place Mall food court at 4870 East Broadway Boulevard, the 324 square-foot restaurant employs a staff of eight.
“I am thrilled about the opening of the second DQ Treat store in Tucson and am ready to serve our customers,” says new operator Bernardo Santos, who also operates 60 DQ locations throughout Mexico. “The Dairy Queen system is the world-wide treat leader, and we’ve paired an innovative exciting design with a fabulous selection of cravable treats including all of the Dairy Queen and Orange Julius favorites, as well as enticing new menu items. Our customers will love what we’re bringing to the Tucson community.”
The DQ Treat store in Tucson features DQ favorites, such as the Blizzard Treats, MooLatté frozen coffee flavored beverages and a wide variety of other soft-serve items, as well as the full line of Orange Julius Premium Fruit Smoothies and fruit-blended beverages.
All Orange Julius Premium Fruit Smoothies, Light Smoothies and Julius Original drinks are available in eight flavors including Orange, Strawberry, Strawberry Banana,Tripleberry, Mango Pineapple, Berry Pomegranate, OrangeBerry, and Piña Colada, and protein or banana boosts can be added. The Orange Julius Premium Fruit Smoothies are made fresh to order with real fruit blended with low-fat yogurt. The Orange Julius Light Smoothies are 170 calories or less in a small size, contain no artificial sweeteners or flavors and are yogurt-free.
“We are looking to provide the Tucson community with a great treat location, from that morning smoothie to the after-the-movie Blizzard Treat,” Santos says.
