DQ Grill & Chill Opens in Indianapolis, Sioux Falls

The Dairy Queen system’s newest, most exciting restaurant concept has opened its doors at 2425 National Drive in Indianapolis. The first DQ Grill & Chill restaurant to open on the south side of Indianapolis, the 1,850-square-foot restaurant has added 45 new jobs in the area, contributing to Indiana’s employment growth.

The new location also will contribute to the state’s restaurant sales, which, according to the National Restaurant Association, are projected to increase by 2.6 percent this year.

“We are excited to open the newest DQ Grill & Chill restaurant in Indianapolis with its full menu of cravable food items, cool treats, and Orange Julius specialty fruit smoothies and beverages,” says operator Gavin Hart. “This new restaurant is sure to become a location where families and friends can gather to share smiles and stories over a great meal and treats.” 

Hart also owns eight additional Dairy Queen locations in Fort Wayne.

The Dairy Queen system also opened a Grill & Chill at 1309 E. Benson Road in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The newly opened 2,090-square-foot DQ Grill & Chill restaurant has added 32 new jobs in the area, contributing to South Dakota’s employment growth.

The new restaurant will also contribute to the state’s restaurant sales, which according to the National Restaurant Association, are projected to increase by 3 percent this year.

This new DQ Grill & Chill restaurant is the second Sioux Falls location for franchisee Chad Hatch, who also owns restaurants in Yankton and Keystone, South Dakota.
