DQ Kicks Off Spring Season with Deals

The Dairy Queen system will kick off the spring season with special deals throughout March that highlight the iconic brand’s unique food and treat offerings.

Participating Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill restaurants in the U.S. will offer a Buy One, Get One (BOGO) Blizzard Treat for 99 cents from March 4-24. The BOGO includes Mint Oreo, the featured Blizzard of the Month, which is a mix of cool mint with Oreo cookie pieces and DQ signature creamy vanilla soft serve. The Mint Oreo Blizzard Treat is available just in time for St. Patrick’s Day in four different sizes, including the popular Mini.
 
In addition, the Dairy Queen system introduces a special food promotion with its Bacon Cheese GrillBurger Combo Deal that includes a quarter-pound GrillBurger with melted cheese and bacon, and served with fries and a medium drink, available throughout the month of March.

Whether you are joining us for lunch, dinner, or a snack, we have the perfect one-two spring-time punch with a BOGO Blizzard Treat offer and quarter-pound Bacon Cheese GrillBurger Combo Deal.”
 
Many Blizzard Treat flavors, including Mint Oreo, easily can be made into DQ Cakes for celebrating holidays and special events including St. Patrick’s Day, birthdays, anniversaries, and more.
 
In addition to signature treats, DQ Grill & Chill restaurants and other DQ locations offer food items such as deli-style Iron Grilled Sandwiches. Other menu offerings may include Grilled or Crispy Chicken Sandwiches and Salads; Chicken Strip Baskets; Shrimp Baskets; Quesadillas; and Chili Cheese Dogs.
 
The Dairy Queen system began blending combinations of cookies, candies, fruits, and nuts with DQ soft serve in 1985 to create the signature Blizzard Treat. The treat has created the served upside-down Blizzard culture and since then, flavors such as Triple Chocoholic, Midnight Truffle, and Confetti Cake have delighted Dairy Queen fans as part of the featured Blizzard of the Month program, which began in 2003.
 
The popularity of the Blizzard brand is what led the Dairy Queen system to initiate the Blizzard Fan Club in 2005 and the Dairy Queen Facebook fan page in 2008. Today, the Fan Club is 3.3 million members strong while the DQ Facebook fan page has more than 5.4 million friends.
