The Dairy Queen system has always been about sharing smiles and stories. Now, the company has opened a new DQ Grill & Chill restaurant and a DQ Orange Julius store in Lynnwood, Washington, creating 50 jobs.

The 2.135 square-foot DQ Grill & Chill restaurantis located at 121st Street and Mukilteo Speedway, and has seating for 69 and a drive-thru window. The DQ Orange Julius store is located at the food court in the Alderwood Mall, 3000 184 St., S.W.

“We are thrilled to have two new Dairy Queen locations in Lynnwood open and ready to serve our customers,” says Jim Kerr, vice president of Franchise Development for American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ).

“The Dairy Queen system is the world-wide leader in the quick-service restaurant industry offering a fabulous selection of cool treats, including Dairy Queen and Orange Julius favorites, as well as cravable food items. Customers will love what we’re bringing to Lynnwood."

Both the DQ Grill & Chill and DQ Orange Julius locations feature DQ treat favorites such as iconic Blizzard Treats, MooLatté frozen coffee-flavored beverages, and a wide variety of other soft-serve items, as well as Orange Julius premium fruit smoothies and fruit-blended beverages. The Mukilteo location also offers DQ Cakes.

In addition, the DQ Grill & Chill restaurant offers a food menu featuring the quarter- and half-pound Grill Burger made to order, as well as other delicious and unique food items, including deli-style Iron Grilled Sandwiches. A Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Chicken or Crispy Shrimp Baskets also are available for either lunch or dinner.
