Dunkin’ Donuts Brews Up New Unit in Utah

The opening of the first West Valley City, Utah, Dunkin’ Donuts is scheduled for Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at 5 a.m. There will also be a VIP party on Monday, September 30, with free samplings of Munchkins and iced or hot coffee for guests who stop in between 6 and 9 a.m.

The new restaurant includes a drive thru and is conveniently located in a new business development near West Valley City’s new Target store.

Sizzling Platter, LLC, a Utah-based restaurant management company, will open this location and has additional Dunkin’ Donuts sites planned for the Wasatch Front. There are three other Dunkin’ Donut stores along the Wasatch Front: one each in Ogden, Bountiful, and Salt Lake City, Utah.

“We think Utahans are beginning to understand what it means when we say, ‘America runs on Dunkin.’ We’re excited to introduce West Valley City to an array of all-day options,” says Ted Morton, Sizzling Platter CEO. “From your first cup of iced or hot coffee with a sweet indulgence to our amazing breakfast and lunch sandwiches, we believe it's a perfect fit for those on the go or who want a comfortable break in their day.”

After the grand opening, the new store, along with its drive thru, will be open daily from 4:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Sizzling Platter operates and manages restaurant locations across seven western states under the Dunkin' Donuts, Little Caesars, Sizzler, Red Robin, and Hoppers Grill & Brewing Company brands.
