Dunkin’ Donuts announced the signing of multiunit store development agreements with three franchise groups to develop 14 new restaurants in Wichita and Topeka, Kansas, over the next several years.

The three franchise groups and their development plans include new franchisees Douglas and Dan Day, who plan to develop nine restaurants in Wichita. With more than 20 years of combined experience in the industry, these new franchise partners plan to open their first restaurant before the end of 2014.  New franchisees Alison Leiszler-Bridges and Samantha Liby plan to open three restaurants in Manhattan and the surrounding areas. The duo’s first restaurant is slated to open before the end of 2014, and the remainder will open by 2017. Existing franchisees Douglas Hutton and David Riggs plan to develop two new restaurants in Topeka, Kansas. This team currently operates one Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant in St. Joseph, Missouri. Their next restaurant is planned to open in 2015, and the second will follow in 2016.

“Our secret to continued growth includes passionate franchisees who provide a high-level of customer service to our guests every day,” says Grant Benson, CFE and vice president of global franchising and business development for Dunkin’ Brands. “We are excited to welcome these new and existing franchise partners to the Kansas market and believe they will cultivate lasting customer relationships and become an integral part of the Wichita and Topeka communities they serve.”

In an effort to keep the brand fresh and competitive, Dunkin’ Donuts offers flexible concepts for any real estate format, including free-standing restaurants, end caps, in-line sites, gas and convenience, travel plazas, universities, as well as other retail environments.

Dunkin’ Donuts’ new look includes four distinct restaurant design options for franchisees, each featuring variations in layout, color schemes, graphics, textures, furniture, and lighting. The designs enhance the current restaurant appearance, environment, and layout to serve people all day long. Dunkin’ Donuts allows franchisees to select individual elements from any of the four options, creating a restaurant design that reflects their personal tastes and preferences, and best serves their specific restaurant size and location.
