Dutch Bros. Shows Love with Food Bank Contributions

Valentine's Day is Dutch Luv Day, when 195 Dutch Bros. Coffee locations in 94 cities will be offering drink specials in exchange for minimum canned food contributions to help their local food banks fight hunger.

Since Dutch Bros. Coffee locations are locally owned and operated, specials vary by location.

The annual Dutch Luv Day effort extends company-wide and last year raised more than 100,000 pounds of canned food for friends and neighbors in need.

"It's amazing. Every year, we have people bringing in bags of cans, beyond the minimum donation," says cofounder Travis Boersma. "We love being that platform for people to come together and show love for their neighbors."

Dutch Bros. Coffee donates more than $1 million every year to nonprofit organizations and causes in an effort to achieve its goal of "making a difference, one cup at a time."
