DVD Release of “Hop” Signals Easter Sweets at Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme is bringing you two delicious, egg-shaped treats to celebrate the Blu-ray and DVD release of Universal Pictures’ Easter-themed family comedy HOP, from the creators of Despicable Me.

The new Sprinkled Chocolate Iced Egg with Kreme Filling and Drizzled Iced Egg with Chocolate Kreme Filling Doughnuts are available March 12 through April 8 at participating U.S. and Canada Krispy Kreme locations. 

“We’ve captured the delightfulness of this hilarious hit family comedy in two great-tasting, egg-shaped treats,” explains Ron Rupocinski, Krispy Kreme corporate chef. “They’re a fun and colorful way for your family to celebrate the arrival of spring and the Blu-ray and DVD release of HOP.”

The Hunt Is over! Fill your baskets with these two new tasty treats at participating Krispy Kreme shops and participating Walmart locations:

  • Sprinkled Chocolate Iced Egg with Kreme Filling: A chocolate iced, egg-shaped doughnut featuring spring-themed sprinkles and Kreme filling.
  • Drizzled Iced Egg with Chocolate Kreme Filling: An egg-shaped doughnut topped with orange icing and drizzled with blue and green icing.
