East Coast Wings & Grill announced 10 years of same-store sales increases proving the longevity of the gourmet-style buffalo wing concept within a competitive market.

“The team is proud to celebrate a decade of continued success. Reaching this milestone sets East Coast Wings’ place as a top industry performer and proves we have established an unwavering business model for investors,” says Sam Ballas, president and CEO of East Coast Wings & Grill. “Our commitment to fresh wings combined with our family oriented atmosphere gives us an edge in the chicken wing segment that our competitors just don’t possess.”

The casual dining company ended 2013 with 27 locations and the same-store sales increases were up 2.2 percent from 2012 across the system. The brand rolled out four additional units into 2014 for early open dates in the first part of the year.

Currently, East Coast Wings & Grill has stores open and operating throughout North Carolina, Texas, Central Florida, and most recently South Carolina. The casual-dining chain has signed agreements to add over 80 new restaurants over the next five years, including active development plans in Tennessee and Georgia for the first quarter of 2014 and future growth in Virginia, Florida, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky.

While its 75 flavors and 675 combinations of buffalo wings remain a staple, East Coast Wings & Grill’s six-page menu incorporates casual dining fare including burgers, salads, sandwiches, and more.

“The sales growth is proof that East Coast Wings & Grill is a renowned brand among consumers in our markets,” Ballas says. “We will not stop here and look forward to continuing development with qualified franchise partners across the nation.”
