The Foodservice Packaging Institute has published three new leaflets for foodservice packaging converters and suppliers, foodservice distributors and operators, media, and the general public.
- “The Benefits of Single-Use Foodservice Packaging” outlines the benefits of these products, including sanitation, cost, safety and convenience.
- “Foodservice Packaging and the Environment” addresses issues related to foodservice packaging: solid waste, litter, recycling, waste-to-energy and sustainable materials and packaging.
- “Foodservice Operators and Single-Use Packaging” provides guidance for foodservice operators on the proper handling, storage and disposal of these products.
