Einstein Bros. Bagels Opens First Marriott Location
Einstein Bros. Bagels will open in a Marriott hotel for the first time on Thursday, March 8, 2012. The restaurant will open at 6 a.m. and is located inside the Crystal Gateway Marriott, situated at 1700 Jefferson Davis Highway in Arlington, Virginia.
To celebrate the grand opening, Crystal Gateway Marriott will present the first 100 people in line with Einstein Bros. Bagels’ coupons valid for one free breakfast sandwich a week for one year.
Einstein Bros. Bagels offers a great tasting selection of its world famous freshly baked bagels, signature sandwiches, tempting sweets, and lighter options such as Bagel Thin sandwiches, salads, and artisan roasted coffees.
To receive the coupons, the first 100 people in line must be at least 18 years old and have a valid photo ID.
Those who qualify will be awarded a coupon book good for one breakfast sandwich per week for a year, equating to 52 sandwiches. See store for details.
"We are excited to present Einstein Bros. Bagels to the Crystal City neighborhood. With over 2,000 guests walking through our lobby each day, we are proud to provide them with a quick and convenient meal throughout the day," says Sharon Lockwood, general manager, of the Crystal Gateway Marriott, the operator of the hotel’s new Einstein Bros. Bagels.
"Einstein Bros. Bagels is a great fit here at Crystal Gateway Marriott, offering craveable food and friendly service that our guests and area residence have come to expect and rely on.”
The restaurant will be open between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
"We’re bringing our wide variety of menu offerings and baking heritage to everyone at Crystal Gateway Marriott,” says Jeff O’Neill, chief executive officer and president of Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Inc.
"We are proud to introduce the popular Einstein Bros. brand to this world class hotel and the guests who are staying there.”
The brand plans to open nearly 30 licensed restaurants, much like the one at Crystal Gateway Marriott, in academic, hospitality, and transportation hub settings throughout 2012. This flurry of growth is being fueled by continuing innovations in Einstein Bros. Bagels’ menu offerings, with the introduction of Bagel Thin Sandwiches, Bagel Poppers, and the Lighter Side Menu.
In addition to serving individual consumers, the Crystal Gateway Marriott location offers groups the brand’s Darn Good Coffee and lunch boxes with the brand’s signature sandwiches.
With more than 500 restaurant locations nationwide, Einstein Bros. has built a strong presence and loyal following throughout the United States.
“We want to be the fastest growing fast-casual restaurant chain in America, and we are increasing our focus on expansion through licensing and franchising,” O’Neill adds.
Einstein Noah Restaurant Group consists of approximately 700 restaurants in 39 states and the District of Columbia. The company's stock is traded on the NASDAQ under the symbol BAGL. Visit www.einsteinnoah.com for additional information.
