Electro Freeze, a division of H.C. Duke and Son LLC (Duke), announces the Genesis Series Soft Serve Freezers featuring their new VQM, Virtual Quality Management System.  

VQM offers operators an intuitive-touch interface to manage their soft serve frozen dessert business from both in-store and remote locations. 
 
“Electro Freeze’s emphasis has always been on product quality, which is why we developed VQM to provide operators more control over the quality of their frozen dessert business,” says Tom Hotard, president. “VQM allows management to make product quality adjustments, track product volume dispensed, and clean cycle indications, as well as set alerts and security settings.” 
 
The Genesis Series SLX400 and SLX500 models will premiere at the National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show in Chicago, Illinois, May 18-21, 2013, in the Electro Freeze booth 4815.
 
The Virtual Quality Management System allows operators the ability to adjust product quality to their preferred settings by selecting from six preset product types, like yogurt and high fat, and then additionally modify temperature settings to achieve the signature product experience they want to provide to their consumer. 
 
“We are giving operators access to the administrative data they need to manage their frozen dessert assets,” states Penny Klingler, VP sales. “Multi-unit chains need visibility to assess the volume of their business, when machines were last cleaned, if their crew has the machines up and running and if there are any alerts, like a power outage. Our new Genesis Series Soft Serve Machines with VQM provide that visibility to all the barrels of all of the machines at all of their locations from the convenience of their headquarter office, or the office on site.” 
 
The VQM system also allows remote diagnostic access for Electro Freeze’s nationwide service teams as well.
 
The new Genesis Series SLX400 delivers exceptional product quality in a smaller footprint with mid-range capacity, perfect for a large variety of business such as QSRs, convenience stores, yogurt, and ice cream shops. The Genesis Series SLX500 is the high-capacity floor model that has been so popular with frozen yogurt chains and QSRs, now with the inclusion of the intuitive-touch interface VQM system.
