Elevation Burger, a 100 percent organic beef burger chain, recently signed two new franchising deals in the cities of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, and Houston. With 39 stores in operation, the company is expanding worldwide with the help of franchise development partner Fransmart, who has developed territories across the U.S. and the Middle East.

Wyomissing franchisees Gary and Sue Binasiewicz were introduced to the concept by a friend and loved the green, environmentally friendly theme of the restaurants. “We were convinced of the concept after we went to visit the closest location in Collegeville, Pennsylvania,” the couple says. “We try to watch what we eat, but everybody loves a good burger and fries.”

The Binasiewicz, who are hoping to secure a shopping center site for their location, are small business owners who both have experience in the restaurant industry serving in various roles. Their other business, a carpet cleaning business based out of Reading, Pennsylvania, is also known for taking innovative steps towards being environmentally responsible.

United Food Concepts, the franchisee that will be developing three units in the Houston area, is a multi-unit operator of varied businesses in the United States and Canada.

Elevation Burger offers a better-for-you burger, which – as the franchisees say – “speaks for itself in terms of the way you feel after finishing a meal there.” They recently became the first fast casual food franchise to join the Organic Trade Association and are setting the bar for fast casual restaurants in terms of putting people, planet, and product ahead of profit.
