Summer sweetness is now in season with two new sun-kissed and handpicked Key Lime treats from Krispy Kreme.
Key Lime Cake and Key Lime Cheesecake Doughnuts are available through June 23, 2013, at participating Krispy Kreme U.S. and Canadian locations.
Guests can enter for a chance to win a Krispy Kreme Key Lime Staycation Prize Pack at their nearest participating Krispy Kreme location. The sweepstakes is open to U.S. residents only.
“This is the time of year when people crave delicious fresh citrus flavors,” says Ron Rupocinski, Krispy Kreme corporate chef. “Our key lime doughnuts are a special treat. They are a little sweet, a little tart, and a little out of the ordinary.”
The Key Lime Cake Doughnut is topped with key lime cream cheese icing and a Kreme dollop. The Key Lime Cheesecake Doughnut is filled with key lime cheesecake and topped with key lime cream cheese icing and graham cracker crust crumbles.
The Krispy Kreme Key Lime Staycation Giveaway gives guests a chance to win one of 200 Key Lime Staycation Prize Packs.
The sweepstakes runs through May 18, 2013, or when entry forms run out. No purchase is necessary.
One winner will be selected per participating Krispy Kreme location. The prize pack includes one free Krispy Kreme iced beverage a week for a year; one free dozen doughnuts; sunscreen; Krispy Kreme Staycation postcards; key lime–scented air freshener, which is redeemable for one free doughnut; Krispy Kreme Staycation beach towel; Krispy Kreme travel mug and 12-ounce bag of House Blend coffee; beach ball; and a Staycation “Do Not Disturb” sign. The prize pack is valued at $350.
Fans can also join the Krispy Kreme Cruiser for a Staycation getaway in their hometown. Key Lime Staycation Beach Parties are complete with beach-themed giveaways, a prize wheel, and tasty samples.
