Fatburger, an All-American, fast-casual burger restaurant, has officially signed a three-year partnership with the University of Southern California (USC) to become a proud partner of USC Athletics.

Working with USC Sports Properties, the FOX-owned sales entity, which manages the marketing and media rights on behalf of USC Athletics, Fatburger will receive a variety of multimedia sponsorship entitlements, including on-field and courtside signage, video board features, Fan Fest display, and radio spots.

Having provided post-game burgers for the football team for many years, Fatburger will now expand its presence on campus through additional integration at events featuring USC Athletics.

The brand will be utilizing its Fatmobile, a mobile food truck, to cook up Fatburgers, serving hundreds of hungry student athletes, alumni, and fans.

With a diverse selection of burgers, the chain is dedicated to offering high-quality, lean beef options, ranging in size from small to XXXL.

“My sons and I are all proud alums, so we jumped at the chance to extend the partnership, becoming an official partner of USC Athletics,” says Fatburger CEO Andy Wiederhorn. “We are honored to have the opportunity to feed one of the most elite sports programs in the country and hope that our tasty burgers will fuel the Trojans to bring home many more championships.”

Pat Haden, USC athletic director, says, “Partners of USC Athletics are more than just companies, they’re the people behind those companies. The team at Fatburger understands the Trojan tradition, and we’re excited to expand our partnership with such a great group.”

Dan Shell, vice president and general manager for USC Sports Properties, adds, “Fatburger and USC Athletics are both iconic brands in Los Angeles, so teaming up together makes perfect sense. We look forward to working with Fatburger on a partnership from which the Trojan fan base is sure to benefit.”
