Fatburger has announced the opening of its first location in downtown Los Angeles.

The Hollywood burger chain maintains and upholds the unique culture that Lovie Yancey created when launching the brand 60 years ago. With an array of toppings and condiments to select from, each burger is grilled to order and topped with fresh ingredients.

Appealing to appetites of all sizes, Fatburger offers burgers ranging in size from small to XXXL, with options including veggie and turkey burgers.

Additional favorites include hand-battered onion rings, hand-scooped milkshakes, and crisp hot dogs smothered in chili.

“Opening in downtown Los Angeles is a tremendous opportunity for our brand, as we have the ability to target both working professionals and spectators visiting the Staples Center, LA Live, Convention Center, and more,” says CEO Andy Wiederhorn. “With our roots in Los Angeles, we are confident our classic, made-to-order burgers will thrive in this bustling and vibrant location.”

Fatburger franchisee, Atif Sheikh, says, “My brother and I both have an extensive background in operating quick-service restaurants and immediately jumped at the opportunity to introduce the brand to such a high-traffic area. We are eager to bring Fatburger’s great-tasting food to this downtown community, and hope to open additional units in Los Angeles in the near future.”

The new Fatburger will be open 24 hours, seven days a week.
