Fazoli’s Adds Italian Lemon Ice Flavors to Permanent Menu

Just in time for warm weather, Fazoli’s, the Italian quick-service restaurant chain, has introduced two Italian Lemon Ice flavors to its permanent menu.

The refreshing flavors, Wildberry Lemon Ice and Peach Lemon Ice, are now available at all company restaurants, with plans to roll them out at franchised units in the future. These beverages, made with real fruit puree, complement Fazoli’s existing flavors of original Italian Lemon Ice and Strawberry Lemon Ice, which also is made with real fruit.

“Our Italian Lemon Ice and Strawberry Lemon Ice have been signature items for years, and we know our guests will go wild over the new flavors made with real fruit,” says Cathy Hull, chief marketing officer.

Fazoli’s has reported 20 months of same-store sales increases, attributed in large part to its menu revamp. “These on-trend beverage additions are the latest in a series of significant enhancements that make Fazoli’s menu much more relevant to today’s guests,” Hull says.

Coming this summer, company restaurants and participating franchise restaurants will launch the “Real Food Gone Wild” promotion, which will include two additional Wildberry offerings. Wildberry Tea and Wildberry Cheesecake, also made with real fruit puree, will be featured along with Wildberry Lemon Ice.
