Flippin’ Pizza signed a five-unit expansion deal for California. The deal was signed with Triboro Pizza Incorporated, the brand’s new multiunit franchisee that has been in the restaurant industry for over 20 years and owned successful businesses in Long Beach, Los Alamitos, and Newport Beach, California.

Triboro Pizza Incorporated has plans to extend the Flippin’ Pizza franchise in prime areas between Huntington and Long Beach, including Seal Beach, Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, Cypress, and Cerritos. The group has set a real estate target for their first location in Huntington Beach to be open by summer 2014, with subsequent locations to open into 2018.

“I was first introduced to Flippin’ Pizza by a friend of mine in the San Diego area who kept saying how good their pizza was,” says a spokesperson for Triboro Pizza Inc. “When I tried it for myself I loved the great taste of the pie, the overall atmosphere, and energy of the brand as it’s completely aligned with our vision to help bring quality, healthy, and fresh ingredients to fast casual consumers everywhere.”

Flippin’ Pizza makes its dough daily with no oil, no sugar, and no high-fructose corn syrup, and tops pizzas with whole milk mozzarella and all-natural toppings.

“There has never been a more exciting time to be in the fast-casual franchise business,” says Flippin’ Pizza’s CEO Herminio Llevat. “With the Triboro group, we have found a like-minded team committed to offering consumers and communities more quality and affordable dining experiences and the best pizza around.”
