Florida Chick-fil-A Helps Local Fan Fight Her Fears
According to www.colgate.com, it has been estimated that 9–15 percent of Americans avoid seeing the dentist because of anxiety and fear. That's about 30–40 million people.
Local Maitland, Florida, resident, Linda Vail, is one of these people. A bad experience at a dentist office as a kid was the root of her fear.
However, when Vail saw the “Too ‘Chicken’?!” ad in the Orlando Sentinel, she decided that tackling this task might be possible with the Chick-fil-A Cow at her side. The “Too ‘Chicken’?!” promotion, sponsored by Chick-fil-A of Central Florida, asks locals to explain what they are “too chicken” to do. If picked, the entrant would attempt to face this fear with the Chick-fil-A Cow at his or her side.
Vail booked a long-overdue appointment with Dr, Pacha in Maitland. With the help of the Chick-fil-A Cow, she made it through with flying colors.
Vail, her husband, and Dr. Pacha and his team celebrated her bravery with a Chick-fil-A breakfast, including hot chicken biscuits, fresh fruit, Chick-fil-A Chicken Minis, sweet tea, and freshly squeezed lemonade.
