Follett Corporation adds outdoor condensing units with a three-phase power supply to its remote ice machine configurations.

Not only do outdoor condensing units remove the heat generated when making ice from the building, but these new energy efficient units save 20 percent more compared to single phase units. In addition to reducing the power required, the three-phase machine's lower amp load allows for smaller circuits, saving money on installation.

The three-phase ice machines produce the same quality Chewblet ice as the single-phase remote condensing units, as well as the self-contained machines. The outdoor condensing units are available for Horizon 1000, 1400, and 1650 series ice machines.
