During her tenure at Cosi, Martensen was responsible for all financial reporting and accounting functions, including all SEC reporting. She was a key player of the senior leadership team and has strong knowledge of franchise operations, strategic planning, and process implementations.

Prior to joining Così, Martensen developed her financial expertise through a diverse background including roles at Near North National Group, a national insurance brokerage and risk management firm, where she was director of finance and director of financial reporting and as controller for La Strada Inc., a restaurant company in Chicago, which operated several restaurant concepts, including fine dining, casual dining, and banquet facilities.

“Freshii is an exciting and dynamic brand which I believe will be become an iconic image for fresh food and healthy dining options. I am delighted to join the Freshii team and look forward to having my expertise and background help to further develop this dynamic concept,” says Martensen.
