Dunkin’ Donuts announced the signing of a multi-unit store development agreement with existing franchisee Milan Patel for four new restaurants in St. Louis. Two restaurants will open in 2012 and the remainder by 2014. Dunkin’ Donuts development throughout St. Louis is part of a steady and strategic growth strategy, which includes expanding in existing markets while entering new cities across the country to help drive the leading coffee and bakery chain’s growth.

Patel has one Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant open in the Lambert-St. Louis International Airport with another scheduled to open this summer. He is also the owner operator of OHM Concession Group Inc. and operates the following brands at Lambert: Pasta House, Great American Bagel, Carvel, and Vienna Beef. He has commitments to open three Dunkin’ Donuts units in the Baltimore-Washington International Airport.

“I am excited to expand Dunkin’ Donuts’ presence in St. Louis and play an important role in the daily lives of people who live, work and visit here,” Patel says. “I have a strong passion and loyalty for the brand and look forward to the opening of my additional restaurants in the community.”

“Dunkin’ Donuts is excited to expand its footprint in St. Louis with Milan Patel,” says Grant Benson, CFE, vice president of franchising and market planning for Dunkin’ Brands Inc. “Our secret to success is our passionate franchisees who provide a high-level of customer service to our guests every day, and we’re confident Milan and his team will continue to cultivate lasting relationships and remain an integral part of the St. Louis community.”
