Construction is complete and Freddy’s is proud to announce the opening of its 64th store today at 930 N. Earl Rudder Freeway in Bryan, Texas.

“We have heard from many Freddy fans who are almost as excited as we are to have a Freddy’s in the Bryan/College Station community,” says franchise partner Keith Alter. “We are focused on providing the highest-quality, freshly prepared steakburgers, Freddy’s fries, and made-fresh frozen custard in an environment that welcomes friends and families to sit down together. We think the families of this area will appreciate our unique approach and we look forward to being an active part of the community.”

The freestanding restaurant with a drive-thru facility is located near the Colony Park Shopping Center. Batis Development completed construction of the 15th Freddy’s in Texas, and there has been a great deal of anticipation during the building phase.

A local crew of more than 60 people was hired to operate the location and there will be a training team on site to assist with a smooth opening.

With 24 additional Freddy’s locations set to open around the country in 2012, the concept is growing rapidly.

“Freddy’s has been a great fit for Texas with our stores in Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio,” says COO Scott Redler. “We are thrilled to be a part of the Bryan/College Station area and look forward to the growth of the concept in this market.”

A friends and family welcome event was hosted on Monday following three days of in-store training for the new crew. General manager, Mike Chapman, and his management team plan to oversee the development of one or two more stores in the Bryan/College Station area.
